*Background*	FMECA is an important tool to identify potential failures of a product. Through a structured methodology, you will review every aspect of a product design or a product process like manufacturing, warehousing or shipping. The potential failure modes will lead to a series of activities ending up with product or process improvements.
*Scope*	Through lectures and practical work with a FMECA in a product allow for thorough understanding and skills in FMECA. Each participant will learn how to plan, lead, perform and report the results of a FMECA.
*Intended for*	Personnel in design, construction, purchasing, production, engineering, QA and QC who will be involved in FMECA
*Contents*	The FMECA process Design FMECA and Process FMECA The FMECA work group and organization of the working process The FMEA leader (the role) Failure Modes, Effects and causes of failure modes Probability of occurrence, severity and probability of detection Risk profile The FMECA form Corrective and preventive actions Report and follow-up
*Program*	Lectures and workshops. Workshops may be performed using your own products and processes.
*No of participants*	Maximum 16 persons
*Qualification test*	Written test may be included if desired
